Triple S Motors of South Melbourne began in trading in 1987 which was formed by three Mechanics formerly of Smiths Motors. Smiths Motors specialised in SAAB,SUBARU,AUDI & VOLKSWAGEN in the South Melbourne area. When Smiths Motors began to wind it's operation down it was obvious that it would be necessary for a replacement service & repair centre to be available for owners of SAAB, SUBARU, AUDI & VW.

Triple S continued to provide that personal service that current and new owners of prestige vehicles enjoy. Business grew dramaticly and after the first five years operation a relocation was necessary. Triple S doubled its floor space when the move to premises in Clarendon Street South Melbourne was made in 1992 until 2010. Now Triple S shares with it's sister operation BC Bargain Car Rental a 1200 square meter area located at 71 Whiteman Street Southbank 3006.
